We've built apps in both Flutter and React Native. Here's our honest take after shipping 30+ apps across both platforms.
Performance
Flutter wins on raw performance. Its compiled Dart code and custom rendering engine (Skia/Impeller) means animations are buttery smooth even on mid-range devices.
Development Speed
React Native has a larger ecosystem of packages, which can speed up development. But Flutter's hot reload is faster, and the widget system is more predictable.
Our Recommendation
For new projects, we default to Flutter. The performance benefits, single codebase for iOS/Android/Web, and growing ecosystem make it the better long-term choice.
